Pickleball is Here, and Madisonville is Ready to Play!

If you’ve been hearing the buzz about pickleball and wondering what it’s all about, now’s the perfect time to jump in—especially right here in Madisonville, where we’ve just welcomed three brand-new pickleball courts to the community! We’re so excited about these new courts because they’re more than just a place to play—they’re a place to gather, laugh, compete (just a little), and make new memories.

These courts are a big deal for Madisonville. They represent how much our town is growing and investing in fun, healthy ways for people of all ages to connect.

If you’re not quite sure what pickleball is, don’t worry—it’s super easy to learn. It’s like a mix of tennis and ping pong, and it's perfect for beginners, kids, and even grandparents. You don’t need to be athletic or competitive to enjoy it. It’s more about having fun and being part of something. Our little ones love trying to hit the ball, and honestly, even the misses come with a lot of laughs.

You don’t need fancy gear to get started either. You can grab a basic paddle set for around $20 at Walmart, just to see if it’s your thing (we bet it will be).

Of course, you can find pickleball courts in Sweetwater and Vonore too, but we’re especially proud of what’s happening right here in Madisonville.
